This. There is more demand than the 100 or so spots in historically top houses. It’s nearly impossible to get in if you don’t already know the girls. Just look at lkkg. Their class was almost all athletes from just a few teams plus some woc to balance it out. Or theta who took a huge group of semi-random girls who lived together off campus and went to Hs with older members. Pi phi took an entire hall of wealthy international girls and then snap bid another dozen random girls who got cut previously which is atypical. Bottom line there’s a need for more than three strong houses on campus.
