Just some advice to PNMs going through sorority rush: Don't think that you absolutely HAVE to be in a top tier house or you won't be respected just because they are top tier. I thought this going through rush and didn't have an open mind at all, and once I started going to the top houses I thought I wanted, I realized I didn't want them at all! I constantly felt like I was having to act my absolute best around them and couldn't be myself. I am in what is considered an upper middle sorority and I couldn't be happier. I knew that this was where I belonged because I could be myself! I have friends in "top tier" and a lot of them feel as though it can be extremely cliquey and catty sometimes and it's not what its made out to be. So just keep an open mind and find where you feel like you fit in, and you will have a great rush. Good luck and go cats :)
