pro: you have two semesters of school to solidify your gpa con: you're a sophomore To be honest, when you go through recruitment some of the houses will cut you because you are a sophomore and some won't. More and more incoming freshmen are going through recruitment so it gives you worse odds. I had a 3.7 gpa when I went through as a sophomore and still got cut from some houses, but it's okay because after the first day you'll know where you fit and feel comfortable. It all depends on your experience and conversation when you are at each chapter. Don't stress too much about it because I know a lot of girls that rushed as sophs and got into their favorite house after pref.
