Shorts- definitely NO jeans or norts! Stick with khakis or other chino style shorts, I heard the shirts are purple this year so navy shorts or white would also look good. As for independents -you will find some greeks here who fit the stereotype that TFM has helped give them. These are the types of people who make fun of "geeds". But there are also normal greeks who really don't care if you are greek or not! Greek life gives you a lot of opportunities to make friends with greeks so you will often see greeks together. But that doesn't mean all greeks hate independents.
