Every house at William and Mary holds a niche in our panhellenic system. There are houses for girls who want to find their best friends, houses for girls who want to find a cute frat-boy to snuggle up with, houses for girls who want people to go out with, and houses that are a grab bag of everything else. That being said: Pick a place that suits your interests and needs. When I rushed I was an out of state student looking for a way to meet new people. If I had seen this site, though I would have taken all straight 1 and straight 5 rankings with a grain of salt, I probably wouldn't have preffed the same houses I kept preffing (Geez I would have cut Chi O the first day, instead of skit night like I ended up doing, the hazing would have easily scared me away). But use this stuff as a back up, as a primer so you know what to look for if you need to confirm things for yourself. Don't worry about rankings, worry about fit.
