Rankings?? Really? Every sorority is unique just like every girl in the greek system is unique. NO ONE deserves to be judged solely by the letters she wears across her chest. It's sad to think that many girls won't join certain sororities just because they don't want to be perceived a certain way. Ranking sororities based on perceived overall "hotness" or "partying" only serves to perpetuate negative stereotypes and potentially damage the self-esteem of girls in these groups. Sororities are not meant to be about status or labels...they were created so girls could have a support system while away from home, and a network of sisters who will become lifelong friends. So how about we praise/critique these groups based on their actual qualities and constituency, and then PNMs who might look at this page can decide for themselves which sorority might best suit them, without being influenced by biased, meaningless "rankings." We go to WM people...we're better than this.
