re: involvements being too involved isn't always a good thing. lots of places think that it means you won't be involved enough in the sorority. also, the tiers thing is kind of bull. might come as a surprise, but most of the time when a "top" and "middle tier" organization mix that typically don't, it's not just the top one that doesn't show up; neither does the one that isn't as "good". it's not about whos better, it's about what you value and want out of your greek experience.
