Rushing is a great way to meet new people all at once, I rushed as a sophomore and I've loved every minute in my sorority even though it's a smaller one. I don't think it's wise to filter chapters too much since keeping an open mind is key to finding your true home at the end. If you try to pick favorites and it turns out to not be a match, you'll end up sad and may miss out on where you're supposed to be.
