not the point

Poster Message:
this isn't about the people in the chapter. some of the best people on this campus are in alpha phi.........and some of the worst. but that's beside the point here. what is the point is that unlike (most) other chapters who play by the rules and ppc before and during recruitment, alpha phi encourages its members to dirty rush freshmen by extending them oral bids from the beginning of first semester through the actual days of recruitment (omg you're so cute, you're totally going to be in alpha phi!), texting/calling them, running into them "accidentally" on campus to chat about things are going during the weekends of recruitment. it's so annoying to other chapters who respect the process and the women going through recruitment who may lose out on people who don't give them a fair chance because they're too distracted by what alpha phi is doing. especially since alpha phi even can't bid all the girls they're doing this to if every girl in the chapter is doing this to even just 1 freshmen. "pnms" up there got it right. it's all about respect. if you respect yourself and respect the process, you should trust yourself and the chapters to allow you to find your home the right way, by meeting other sorority women naturally and then by going through recruitment without any outside pressure during the actual rounds.
