Furthermore and most importantly, these things that you're talking about, the things you want to take into account because they obviously aren't going to be a focal point during recruitment, are all rooted in underlying vibes and components of a chapter. Every chapter has their pros and has their cons- the thing is in which chapter do the cons matter least to you, and where the pros mean the most. Even though the less-positive components won't get discussed during rush, the underlying components, like sisterhood (good or bad) will be evident either explicitly or just begin in the room with the entire chapter. And these underlying components ARE the kind of things you get a sense of during recruitment. People can fake things like a stronger sisterhood/etc than is maybe reality, yes. That's when you keep wayyyy back in your head the things people say on campus over and over again but MOST IMPORTANTLY when you make your own decision based on how you FEEL during the conversations and just sitting in the room, honestly.
