it all depends on how you define tiers. alpha phi, pi phi, and kappa will always argue that they're still top tier because they get the most attractive/social girls overall - and by this metric, that's true, because they're the ones that recruit by attractiveness/social life. but at literally any other university tiers are defined by recruiting power and campus rep, which changes things a lot. even disregarding reputation (because that varies a lot based on who you ask/what you look for in a sorority), here's how well chapters have done in rush the last 3 years. you'll notice it's starting to look VERY different than what the alpha phi/pi phi/kappa like to advertise: 2012: kappa, pi phi, alpha phi, aephi, dg, chio, aopi 2013: pi phi, dg, aephi, kappa, alpha phi, chio, aopi, (kd) 2014: alpha phi, pi phi, dg, kappa, aephi, chio, kd, aopi averaged out (with more weight on recent years since that's what matters more) it looks something like this: pi phi alpha phi/dg kappa/aephi chio aopi/kd
