pi phi, kappa, alpha phi, and also aephi normally don't like taking sophomores. but alpha phi had one this year, kappa had a bunch this year, pretty sure pi phi's president rushed as a sophomore, and aephi has taken a few since i've been here. dg took a lot this year and so did chio. aopi generally has a lot of sophomore new members. kd is so new they need the older members to help establish their chapter and took a lot of sophomores this year (fall and spring). your chances of joining anywhere as a sophomore are probably better if you have a good friend (or a lot of good friends) in a chapter to fight for you. especially in the first group of chapters.
