honest question: if both the survivor and perpetrator's girlfriend had resigned before anything happened, what could dg possibly do? i saw they posted a statement and people are saying they should disband but if they weren't members at the time how would dg have known and been able to do something about it? how would disbanding help the survivor if, aside from meeting through the chapter, they could not have been involved in addressing the situation at the time? were there other organizations these members were in at the time? what did they do? i get that they met through greek life but since they were not members what could greek life to do as a whole to address it?
