Every chapter has their own live-in rules. Just ask them during informal. For some houses, upperclassmen have first priority to live in (not sure how it is for girls given bids during informal, though) and living in is cheaper than dorms if you were gonna do that. It's not bad! You live in a house with all your sisters and get great food and you're right on the row! (cute fraternity neighbors!) So you could live in the chapter house for a semester and if you don't like it, you could just live out with a few roommates.
