Stories can be fictional, too. If during first recruitment she was cut from any homes that are never allowed to re-invite or bid/re-bid once she was cut/bid, she would have had a more difficult 2nd and 3rd recruitment. Some pnm women also have very deficient attitudes during their first rush and leave poor impressions with sorority members who then decide she will never wear their letters. In other words, first impressions count.
