So I got in to Phi Mu, and initially I was really excited. But after getting to know the girls and hanging out with them, I really don't feel a connection with any of them, and I'm already dreading staying in this sorority. There's nothing wrong with any of the girls, I just feel like we don't "click" at that my personality is very, very different from theirs. I feel like I don't belong in it, or like maybe this house isn't the right one for me. Is it just because I'm nervous? Do girls usually have doubts about a house they just joined? I'm considering dropping and coming back in the fall instead to be a part of formal fall recruitment. Then I'll be able to get to know all of the Panhellenic houses and see which one is the best fit for me. But I'll be a junior by then, and honestly a lot of girls have told me that it's really hard for a junior to get a bid, and that no one even really considers them. Is this true? Should I stick it out with Phi Mu or just wait for FFR? Are any houses informally recruiting/doing COB for spring? And how likely is it for them to get back to someone who wants to informally rush with them?
