You're going to get a different experience joining a new house, versus an established house. That's not necessarily a bad thing, just depends on what you're looking for. New houses are never amazing straight off the bat. Even if Phi Mu gets cool girls it takes a long time to work up the social ladder, if that's what you're referring to. It will be interesting to see how they do given location (17th) and being they're a waaay Southern sorority, not relevant on the West Coast.
