I've rushed around 10 fraternities, really taken advantage of the process and I will honestly state to anyone who is rushing: Ignore what you see on this site. Try not to focus on the tiers, what people rank, etc. Go to parties, meet the guys (or girls if you're rushing a sorority) and see what you like the best. I.e. I rushed betas and received a bid from them, despite being a top house I thought that they were jerks, but I'm sure a lot of people would disagree with that. Don't let reputation influence your decision, decide on your own.
