Yes it is definitely worth it. Depending on the house you join you may be a little uncomfortable with how they treat you though, by that I mean that I’ve seen some houses call their new PC “babies” (not in a mean way but in a “look at our new babies” kind of way). This would have really bothered me so the houses I talked to I made it clear that I was a sophomore and that I was not going to pretend like I was a freshman and like I hadn’t already been here a year. Honestly though I love the girls in my PC, if anything it has made me sad that I won’t be able to spend 4 years with them. There are other sophomores too, and in many ways you won’t notice the difference once you join a sorority, apart from maybe being able to give the freshmen some advice since you’ve already been here for a year. Don’t be discouraged by the beginning of rush either; when I first saw the huge auditorium of girls and how nervous they looked I really questioned whether this was for me, the atmosphere of rush honestly made me feel too old and too serious haha (my first year weathered me a lot). But after getting a bid and being in a house for almost a year I can definitely say it was worth it. Hope this helps :)
