If you've ever had your name called out on greek rank it was 100% written by a theta- this goes for guys and girls. My friend that just dropped told me that they have their president board strategically write things about certain girls in other houses to try to frame them as if they are bragging about themselves or their own house. Same with guys, they'll write things about guys that screwed them over as revenge.
