<strong>Subject:</strong><br />dropping out of sorority <br /><br /> Poster Message:
So I went through FFR and ended up in a sorority I don’t like. I won’t change my mind or give it more time. I just don’t feel at home here and not happy at all, and have felt this way since bid day. I’m 100% set on leaving this sorority and I’m open to the idea of joining one I actually like next year. Initiation ceremony for the sorority I’m in now is in November. I still have time to figure it out and drop out before initiation, but what should I do about telling my sorority I wanna drop out and also the situation of not having back up housing? UW dorm housing is super full and backed up, that the waiting list is over 200 people?!? I can’t afford an apartment in Seattle so that’s not an option!! And I don’t live close enough to commute, so please be realistic with housing advice! Also, would accepting a bid from a sorority but dropping out before initiation this year ruin my chances of trying to join another sorority next school year through COB? Any advice about UW housing would help, and anyone who has advice about dropping out of a sorority before initiation is helpful!!
