"better" sororities have more opportunities to socialize with "better" fraternities, both formally and informally. If you're in a lower sorority, probably not hearing about hall parties at top frats. the quotes are because tiers only mean so much to all but the very most superficial 2%. everyone else will make friends where they like the people and not choose status over actual quality relationships I'm in a "top" sorority and mostly prefer to avoid the "top" frats because I just don't vibe with the guys. but obviously some girls decide they must only hang out with certain frats, which is OK. The GS really does offer a range of social experiences.
