I definitely agree with the comment above mine. Only you can figure out which house is the right fit for you, so you should definitely try rushing for yourself and don't use this site when you're rushing. Now when talking about rushing vs. dorms, I think there are pros and cons on each side. You don't get a lot of alone time in a sorority, but you're always getting opportunities to do stuff. The nice thing about being in a sorority is that it definitely makes the community a little smaller when you start college, so you're not overwhelmed and will have friends when classes actually start. My friends in the dorms have also told me they got really lonely during the first quarter, because they don't get a lot of chances to actually make friends! Just go through the process to see if it's right for you, and if you don't like it then you can drop before you get initiated :) good luck!
