You said you're going to be in the dorms this year, but pretty much all girls going through recruitment have to live in the house their first year (and at least a year or two after that). If you have a housing contract and sign up for Recruitment, the housing contract will be canceled. You will have to call and have it reopened and then risk losing your deposit if you join a house and they require you to live in. I think you better read through the recruitment FAQ on the panhellenic site.
