And...another reason to completely forget top houses as an even slightly decent place to live. If you are recruited based on wealth, you are not going to have similar personalities in the house at all, the only thing you'll have in common is that you also love spending copious amounts of your dads money or expensive things. This is why it is rumored that most top houses don't have good sisterhoods, because they don't get along as a whole, and end up forming cliques and have lots of drama and a high dropout rate. Do you really want to live with 100 girls but only like 5 of them? In my house, I can go into any room I want, sit down, and for hours just have a conversation about anything we want. Yes, there's some girls I don't know as well and yes I do have my 3-4 closest friends, but regardless there's nobody in my house that I don't feel comfortable walking to class with, having lunch or dinner with, or anything else really. I can wear pajamas and no makeup with my hair a mess because I just woke up and I'm not constantly in fear that I'll be judged for not looking as good without makeup or for wearing an old oversized t shirt to bed instead of expensive pajamas or something. That's another thing, "top" (means "best" socially, let's keep that in mind) houses require their girls to buy the most expensive things for recruitment, like Pi phis white pants. How superficial does that sound? You may be all caught up in sorority world, but take a step back and realize it's rediculous.
