Yes it's definitely more relaxed! I haven't personally gone through COB, but being in a house I've talked with girls at cob events. What is most important is standing out, being chatty and bubbly, and talking to as many people as possible. Don't just talk to one girl that you sit next to, because after the COB events they basically will do a random vote where each member gets to vote once on a girl they want to invite back and most people arnt gonna vote for you if they didn't get to talk to you for at least a moment.
