It's hard to say obviously since we all only end up in one house, and rumors could be rumors but I do have friends in other houses that describe their house life in a way that seems different than mine. Like she says the girls are more cliquey and don't like walk to class or sit together or say hi to each other when they see each other out. My house we definitely do, were always together. Like the above comment, definitely more "top" houses have been said to be less sisterhood oriented. At least 2 top houses require you to follow the rule of thirds, or do at least 2 of the 3 when you're on the first floor: cute outfit, hair done, makeup done. My house I can roll out of bed in my pjs with bed head and no makeup, it feels like home. You'll get a feel for which houses are more like mine and which arnt. A lot of people in my house on pref day dropped the "top" houses for this reason and they say they're happier than ever with their decision. Hazing seems to go hand in hand as well, the less sisterhood oriented the more hazing rumors there are. I use rumors lightly because I've heard some directly from the source yet some are so blown out of proportion.
