Back around 2007, our little corner of the greek world decided to open for sorority expansion due to larger interest in greek life by our ever-growing enrollment numbers. AOII joined us in 2008 and AEPhi installed in 2009, with Zetas coming on in 2011 and Fuzzies in 2012. In the meantime Phi Sigs left in 2011, yet our campus continued to invite NPC groups to present and be chosen for colonization. As of late 2013 Kappa Delta had been scheduled for a 2014 colony, Phi Siga were to be allowed to return in 2015, Gamma Phi Beta had their colony listed for 2016 and Alpha Delta Pi was listed for a TBD date of colonization. Although those four currently show as "approved for expansion colony" as listed on the VCU greek website, as of May 30, 2015 there is no longer any listing for a Kappa Delta colonization on the Kappa Delta's headquarters website. Gamma Phi Beta today still lists a TBD VCU colony; and Phi Sigs and ADPis do not list any upcoming VCU colony. It's truly difficult to guess which group will colonize first as all four are VCU approved, but it is possible some have lost interest due to passage of time, resource limitations and lack of student interest and recruitment enrollment numbers.
