It's actually hard for sophomores to get in one from formal recruitment. Many sophomores didn't last year, and the 10 or so who did knew some girls really well or had perfect grades/involvement. Since you'll be there one year less, you really have to stand out. I would recommend going for fall recruitment, depending on what sororities are participating. I'm not sure which ones are yet, though.
