<strong>Subject:</strong><br />Fraternal Life at UTD<br /><br /> Poster Message:
UTD is not a Greek school at all only like 5% are in Greek life. Parties will be fun but nothing compared to state school crazy. Everything is strict and nothing really frat about any fraternities. Yeah they party yeah they do philantrophy yeah they seem to be having fun. In all honesty it is not worth joining Greek life because it is not your typical Greek life. If you want to do things that you hear stories about from other state schools don’t even think about joining Greek life. In all reality do not join Greek life and just become friends with people in it because everyone gets invited to parties as long as you know people. Sororities are really strict and majority of the people who come out to party are not even in sororities. In a fraternity party at UTD probably 30% are brothers 30% are friends of brothers and 20% are sorority girls while the 20% are random girls that come. In general if you like drama and paying fees to get guaranteed access to a few parties, Greek life is the way to go. Joining Greek life is not what you think it is. In the end, UTD is not frat at all but just a bunch of high school JV players pretending to be cool at a school where being weird is a normal thing.
