"People getting points off for head shaking" is kind of true, kind of not. If the girls are onstage throwing their heads around like it has been in the past, points will be deducted. That's because in the past, there have been many many girls pass out and throw up coming off, which is a huge liability for Panhellenic and is just unsafe. Getting points off for costumes has always been a rule, and the only reason a chapter would get points off is if your costumes are over budget. I don't see a problem with either of these rules. If you look at the Rule Book this year, the points for tickets and shirts don't go toward totals, they're for a separate award for philanthropy. These are not mandatory to buy. All the information is in the Rule Book if you just ask to see it!
