Subject:
why did i not get a bid from a top tier?

Poster Message:
To start with, I had a recommendation letter for just about every house. I was number 19, from a graduating High School Class of 3,000 (roughly) GPA of 4.0 I was very active in my former High School. I played a sport and belonged to several clubs. I made good connections (or at least I felt I did) in all of the houses. I should mention I'm from out of state. I had only 1 house left for preference and it was what most call a Bottom Tier house. I'm an attractive individual (I realize we all think we are) I accepted the bid (I was nervous I may not have gotten a bid from them). My question is how and why does this happen? Just would like a little clarification on the process. Thank you
