Coming from west TN for rush, I was told over and over by a LOT of people, alums and current students alike, about a 'core top 4' of adpi, chi o, tri delt, and phi mu. Basically any one of these were 'worth the $ and time and don't settle for anything else'. Is this still true? Tri Delt and Phi Mu took girls with iffy reps from our area, ADPi cut everyone, chi o pledged the more nice religious girls. Are these still the 'top'. It doesn't seem so on here, but everywhere but this site, people say yes.
