You said you like those three particular houses because those are the ones everyone you knew talked about. That's where you went wrong. Whether you were aware of a tier system or not you had it in your head that since everyone was talking about those particular houses, thats where you wanted to be. Maybe you didn't even realize you were doing. You had already heard positive things about those houses and already in your head that you liked those houses.
