My best friend was going through rush and I told my VP all about her, loved her and really wanted her to be in my chapter. I thought she was for sure in since me (an active member) highly recommended her since we were best friends, she had a great GPA, "attractive" and super friendly. We ended up cutting her and I was devastated. I later realized it was because there were so many other girls going through rush that were amazing and cuts just had to be made somewhere.
