Recruitment is set up to place the vast majority of PNMS if they remain open minded and maximize their options. The girls you hear about not being placed either dropped because not getting invites to the houses they wanted, don't like rush, or only want a specific house during pref. Girls at UT that get dropped all together is rare and undocumented.
