things have changed over the past 2-3 years. a lot of the rankings have shifted. this is the way most people on campus see it (tiers are in order): top tier: phi mu, kd, adpi, ddd, axo middle tier: dz, aoii, zta, chi o, kkg, dg bottom tier: sig kap, pi phi dg and kkg have gotten really good pledge classes the past two years, aoii had one of the highest pnm retention rates, and axo has 100% become top tier.
