Don't want to listen? I simply asked what happened and responded to a post that 1,700 were cut. That wasn't my statement it was someone else's. If you had read the thread from the beginning you would know that. You obviously picked it up in the middle. I graduated well over 25 years ago. I don't have a dog in the race and I never said anything about about the current recruitment process other than my personal opinion. I only made a statement that if UT wanted to reduce the numbers, as a university it's well within their right to do that. There's a long list of restrictions they can put in place anytime they wish. They can disaffiliate with the whole system if they choose. If you think it's an impossibility? When you get some life experience behind you, you'll learn the university can do anything they wish.
