PART 2: 8. ZTA- Reputation and ego the biggest reason. They focus so much on being the top house they forget all the other aspects of being a great chapter. Consistently have a not so great reputation and have a lot of beef with other chapters. They recruit solid pledge classes but there’s always some bad eggs that drag the chapter down. Focus on what’s important to improve. 9. AXO- Reputation also the main factor. They have gotten a lot better than when I was first at UTK (actually my first choice that I didn’t get). Really fun group of girls and fraternities love them but need to step it up on grades, philanthropy, and village relationship 10. KKG- Not very relevant but has definitely been trying to get better and more involved. Lacking some fraternity relations as well. Good grades and strong relationships with the village and focuses a lot on sisterhood and philanthropy. Needs to continue improving social aspect to move. 11. DG- Has really fallen off. They’ve become one of the bottom picks for PNM’s and it’s hard to know exactly why because they’re a really good group of girls. They have the best philanthropy event which attracts a lot of attention in the beginning of the year but then just kinda fall off the map. Lacks fraternity relationships as well. 12. Pi Phi- Beautiful house, up there with DZ. Has definitely improved in all areas in the past few years but needs to continue the hard work to get over their reputation. Sisterhood is strong, involvement is strong but lacks respect from a general standpoint. 13. SK- Reputation….. These girls love to party and have a blast on campus but their treatment of members and everyone else is why they’re last. Most chapters have issues with SK and don’t want to associate with them in events. Only focus on looks and status and that shows how far you can come down. While SK was never top they’ve fallen in the past few years due to their character and lack of interest in any other area. Grades, philanthropy, class all need major improvements.
