I can't remember the exact numbers, but about 920 registered for this fall's recruitment and 680 pledged sororities. Of the 200 or so who didn't pledge, the majority dropped out on their own. That's the case at most every SEC school and the most common reason for that is not liking their return invites after a certain round. Most who stay with the process end up somewhere, so as long you're getting invites, keep going. You meet more sisters and learn more about the sororities as the week goes on. Give it through pref before deciding to drop. Too many drop before pref, then rush ends, they see/meet sorority members in more normal settings, see them hosting their philanthropic events, etc. and realize they probably could have been happy in a group they originally didn't think was a good fit for them. Good luck!
