If your fraternity closes and you haven't been initiated yet, you can rush and pledge another group. Pike pledges did last year when the chapter surrendered their charter. I don't know if they had the choice to initiate into Pike or not, but not sure why they would. They might have been members nationally, but wouldn't have an active college chapter to be part of. Sounds like that would be the same with you. Not sure about you and your PC being able to recolonize the chapter. You could check with your nationals about it, or maybe Greek Life or an adviser. If your chapter is closing, your best bet is probably to re-rush and find another house, but you can only do that if you're still a pledge when they close and not an initiated brother.
