My least favorite word to see on bid day every year is "sweep". It's funny enough when one sorority starts saying it un-ironically but then when every single chapter is saying it, it's just hilarious. I mean, really? It just isn't possible for every house to get every single girl they want. The system isn't set up that way. I mean dang dude, why you gotta be like that?? It is ok if some of your top girls went other chapters. Just be happy with your new pledge class! But when everyone is getting brooms out and writing SWEEP up and down their arms, it just looks like a desperate attempt to try and act like you had a flawless recruitment. Doesn't happen. It's ok. Focus on yourselves.
