obviously haven't seen their stats, and although a 2.7 is low at some schools it might not be at others. That's why admission does their homework when admitting students, especially out of state students. I would be willing to bet most students with lower GPA's come from ranked high schools. Sorry, but some school's 2.7 is anothers 4.0. Unless you know the rigor of a high school, comparing GPA'S is ludicrous.
