1) Greek life at UT is dying (esp frats), so really go through recruitment & try to figure out where you will find some great friends. When the frats are gone it won't matter if your letters used to get the best homecoming partner 2) almost every chapter has only a fractions of its seniors left. People can't afford it, get tired of the bs, already found their friends, have other school clubs they enjoy more etc 3) here are chapters based on personalities/types they usually represent. Yeah everyone's different but similar girls usually recruit girls who resemble themselves AXO/SK/ZTA - usually outgoing & social, a lot of out of state girls overlooked by other houses, on the wild side, just a variety, not known for great academics ADPi/XO/Phi Mu - involved, strong academics, not always the most accepting if you weren't an "it" girl or known to them before rush, can come across as a little stuck up KD/DZ - cheerleaders or dancers, competitive, lots of private school or Nashville girls but not always, outgoing, not always the nicest to other girls AOPi/KKG/DDD - really big mix of girls but usually involved in high school, competitive, low key as far as personalities, friends with a lot of different sororities, win a lot Pi Phi - I hate putting them by themselves but they are just a little more unto themselves than most. I don't see a lot out or with other sororitys. No real identity, they have a lot of party girls as well as really shy girls. Haven't met a mean Pi Phi
