many chapters have more legacies coming through recruitment than than they have spots in their pledge classes. No one wants or takes a pledge class of all legacies no matter what you read on here. In most cases being a legacy gets you invited to second round, but after that it becomes a matter of how well you click with the girls you meet; remember that hundreds of girls going through recruitment also have the grades, recs, activities, etc that you do. It feels personal to you right now but it really isn't. Everyone is playing a numbers game. In many cases legacies are competing among themselves for the available "spots" a chapter is planning to fill with legacies.
