There will 1500 girls going through recruitment, many with 4.0+ out of High School. GPA is a quick way to make some of the bulk cuts required after Round 1. I would be prepared if you do not have at least a 3.75 HS GPA (especially if you did not attend a school with a known difficult curriculum) to experience some of these cuts if you are A) Not a Legacy B) don't have a strong recommendation letter or 3) don't know someone in the chapter or make a great instant connection during recruitment. Side note, it is faux pas to say 'rush' or 'rushing' anymore- it's 'recruitment.'
