Hate to break it to you all, but being in a sorority at UT just isn't that big of a deal. This is not the University of Alabama. It was fun my freshman year, got on my nerves my sophomore year, and I dropped my junior year. And yes, I was in a top house. Join if you want to, but don't feel pressured to do anything you are not sure of. There are a ton of organizations at UT to join, meet people, and make friends.
