The OP is right... my chapter has had to cut many great girls because we have heard them going around talking about a different chapter that they want to be in. If houses hear this, they will not waste a bid on you over someone who actually wants to be in their house. And then if you get dropped from that one house you are wanting, you have no other options. The OP is just giving you a warning and if you are smart you will take her advice and keep an open mind during recruitment.
