To me there aren't ranks. There are houses girls want, think they want, think they are happy with, and think they are better than/would rather not be Greek than be in. Each category makes me sad. If you walk around and see a girl in certain letters and make assumptions about her (good or bad), your haven't developed as a person. I could go on and on about how every house has every type of girl, but PNMs and girls who need self validation won't listen. If each girl in recruitment went in honestly and openly and accepted where they ended up, Panhellenic would actually be a group of support for the Greek community. Instead, we perpetuate petty, bratty, self-entitled notions about houses. It's literally a college organization with some letters can we get over ourselves? Make friends, do charity for the benefit of others, make good grades and set career goals. Be yourself and try to develop your own thoughts and ideas about people instead of being a mindless Barbie like the rest of the world thinks we are. It's so ridiculous to me girls cry over a house. It's like you forget there are 100 girls waiting with smiles and signs with your name on it looking forward to getting to know you. Please drop if you think you are above any house, I definitely don't have sympathy or want you in mine, whether you get into mine or dropped from it whatever house you get consider yourself lucky so many people thought you were a great girl. End rant.
