Equally as involved in leadership positions on campus, equally as talented, equally as diverse and well-rounded. Some people ask why would you rush here at USF? Its nothing like what real sororities are like at big southern colleges. It almost doesn't seem worth it or like "true sorority life". My answer to them is: You're absolutely right, we are nothing like the reputations of Greek life at UF, FSU, or Bama. And I'm happy to say we aren't. If we were, dues would be MUCH more expensive. And yes, darn, we would have our own true greek row houses. But most importantly, if we were like other big schools we wouldn't have such a close tight niche of Greek friendships. I appreciate the housing arrangements we have here, all the same on the outside, yet inside shows individuality. We all live in Greek Village in the corner of USF. Such a small area and small chapter sizes allows us to individually know each of our sisters and the sisters of many other sororities here on campus. Many sorority women on campus are open to meeting others, as you can see everyone gets a little catty at times but what do you expect of so many girls being constantly involved and trying to recruit the best well-rounded girls for themselves. It's to be expected, but don't let harsh comments on this site get you down, keep an open mind in recruitment and allow yourself to create bonds with some wonderful women across all of Panhellenic. You just might find out what you've been missing out on all this time.
